Police arrest a Femen feminist activist with barbed wire on her breasts protesting on July 3, 2013 outside the presidential Elysee palace in Paris, calling for FEMEN activist Amina Sboui to be freed by Tunisian authorities. Sboui was arrested for painting the word “Femen” on a wall near a cemetery in the central city of Kairouan in May, in protest against a planned gathering of radical Salafists, and risks prison terms of two years and six months respectively for desecrating a cemetery and indecency. French President Francois Hollande will start a two-day visit to Tunisia on July 4 to deliver a message of “encouragement” to the pioneer of the Arab Spring revolution which toppled several dictators in the region.
