World Heritage site, the Mahabodhi Temple is illuminated with lights on the occassion of the 2558th Buddha Jayanti celebrations at Bodhgaya on May 12, 2014. Buddha Jayanti, the most sacred Buddhist festival, celebrates the birthday of Lord Buddha and commemorates his enlightenment and death.
