PORTUGAL-AIRLINE-TAP-STRIKE

Passengers pass under a electronic departures board in the boarding area of Lisbon’s airport, showing canceled flights during a strike on October 30, 2014. Air traffic was disrupted today in Portugal, due to a 24-hour strike observed by the crew of the national airline TAP. Nearly 60% of the 320 daily flights had to be canceled, only those of regional subsidiary Portugalia being asured, with minimum services to Madeira, the Azores and Sao Paulo, said a spokesman for the TAP.
