Casi dos mil personas dieron este viernes en París su último adiós a la actriz francesa Mireille Darc, fallecida el lunes a los 79 años, en una ceremonia a la que asistieron su excompañero Alain Delon y otros famosos como Carla Bruni y Claudia Cardinale.

“Como una estrella fugaz, Mireille Darc atravesó el tiempo dejando parcelas de ensueño y de amor”, dijo en su homilía monseñor Jean-Michel Di Falco.





Centenares de admiradores de la actriz se agolparon detrás de las barreras de seguridad instaladas alrededor de la iglesia de San Sulpicio. En el interior, Alain Delon estaba sentado en primera fila, junto a la ex primera dama francesa y cantante Carla Bruni y no lejos del marido de la actriz, el arquitecto Pascal Desprez.

Darc fue “la mujer de mi vida” y “sin ella yo también me puedo marchar”, afirmó esta semana Delon, que estuvo junto a la actriz en el lecho de su muerte.

Ambos fueron pareja durante 15 años en los años 70-80 y juntos rodaron varias películas.

Entre las numerosas personalidades presentes en las exequias, destacaron además el cantante Johnny Hallyday, la alcaldesa de París, Anne Hidalgo, y el ex ministro de Cultura Jack Lang.

Tras la ceremonia, los hombres de su vida, Delon y Desprez, siguieron el féretro tomándose por la cintura y los hombros, la mirada triste, entre los aplausos de la multitud. Su entierro estaba previsto después en el cementerio parisino de Montparnasse.

Darc, apodada “La grande sauterelle” (“El gran saltamontes”), nombre que le vino del título de una película que protagonizó en 1966, rodó medio centenar de largometrajes, de los cuales unos 15 bajo las órdenes del cineasta Georges Lautner, que la catapultó a la fama.

Con su silueta esbelta y melena rubio platino tipo bob, la actriz encandiló al público en los años 60 con sus aires de seductora estilo “garçonne”.

Debido a problemas de salud, Darc tuvo que retirarse del cine en los años 1980. Más adelante, trabajó en populares series de televisión y dirigió varios documentales sobre temas sociales, como el trasplante de órganos, el cáncer, la prostitución.
