Lujo y glamour en el Mónaco Yacht Show 2017 (fotos)

Hasta el próximo sábado, el Mónaco Yacht Show 2017 convierte el principado monegasco en la capital del industria de los superyates. Esta exposición reúne por una horas todas las miradas del sector de las embarcaciones de gran eslora y presupuestos millonarios sobre una misma base, publica expansion.com.

Comenzó en el año 1991 como un punto de encuentro de 32 armadores. Hoy esa cifra queda algo ridícula tras confirmarse que en la edición 2017 participan más de 125 embarcaciones y un total de 540 expositores de 32 países.





Los últimos cuatro años de la exposición en Port Hercules han sido algunos de los más significativos en cuanto al crecimiento y desarrollo de la feria internacional. La organización se ha centrado tanto la actividades de la muestra como en reforzar el destino de Mónaco en mercados emergentes como China, Asia y el Pacífico donde se prevé un importante crecimiento y demanda de superyates en los próximos años.

Durante la pasada edición 2016, el Monaco Yacht Show ofreció 109 supeyates con unas ventas del 17,4% y volumen de negocio superior a los 450 millones de euros. El yate más caro vendido fue el Solandge del astillero Lürssen, con 85 metros de eslora, que se vendió por 155 millones de euros.

Balearic Yacht Destination

Estos días Mónaco es también una cita especial para las empresas de servicios como para futuros armadores que desean conocer en primera persona los nuevos modelos del mercado. Entre la representación española cabe destacar las compañías de la Balearic Yacht Destination que promocionan a las Islas Baleares como un destino náutico de referencia para esta rama de lujo de la náutica.

Una iniciativa que comenzó en anteriores campañas con cuatro empresas líderes en el sector náutico balear como son:Marina Ibiza, Astilleros de Mallorca, STP Shipyard Palma y Port Adriano. Sin embargo, en la edición 2017 se refuerza la oferta en Mónaco con diez nuevos miembros: Alcudiamar, BMComposites, BWA Yachting, e3 Systems, Global Yachting Group, Master Yachts, Modesty, Nautipaints, RSB Rigging y Trapmann Consulting.
