El príncipe Carlos ha compartido la feliz noticia a través del perfil de Twitter de Clarence House, tal y como hizo con su primogénito, el Duque de Cambridge. “Su Alteza Real el Príncipe de Gales está encantado de anunciar el compromiso del príncipe Harry con la señorita Meghan Markle. La boda tendrá lugar en la primavera de 2018. Más detalles sobre el día de la boda se darán a conocer en su debido momento”, reza el comunicado. “El compromiso se produjo en Londres a principios de este mes”, añade la nota. “El príncipe Harry ha informado a la Reina y a los otros miembros cercanos de su familia. También ha recibido el consentimiento de los padres de la señorita Markle”, prosigue. “La pareja vivirá en Nottingham Cottage, en el Palacio de Kensington”, concluye.

Además de comunicar la feliz noticia en Twitter, Clarence House también lo ha hecho en Instagram -algo insólito hasta la fecha- con una foto en la que aparece el príncipe Carlos mirando con admiración a su hijo Harry. “Su Alteza Real, el Príncipe de Gales, se complace en anunciar el compromiso del príncipe Harry con la señorita Meghan Markle. La boda tendrá lugar en la primavera de 2018”, escribe.

 

 

El perfil de Instagram del Palacio de Kensington, encargado de comunicar todas las noticias relacionadas con los Duques de Cambridge y Harry de Inglaterra, ha elegido una imagen del Príncipe y Meghan para anunciar su compromiso. Se trata de una instantánea tomada a finales de septiembre durante los Juegos Invictus, que tuvieron lugar en Canadá, y en la que aparecen de lo más felices y sonrientes. Una imagen que también han subido a Instagram Stories para llegar a un mayor número de seguidores. “El príncipe Harry y Meghan Markle… ¡están comprometidos!”.
