El hombre que puso al mundo al borde de un conflicto nuclear con su desarrollo de armas atómicas salió por primera vez de su país desde que está en el poder, reseña Infobae.

Viajó en tren, asistió a una ceremonia solemne y a una gran comida en su honor que le ofreció Xi Jingping en el Gran Palacio del Pueblo en la plaza Tiananmen, en Beijing.





Kim Jong-un fue recibido con gran pompa por el presidente chino Xi Jinping en Beijing en su primera visita -secreta- a China, una señal de la voluntad de acercamiento entre los dos aliados históricos antes de la cumbre prevista entre el dirigente norcoreano y el presidente estadounidense Donald Trump.

Para su primer desplazamiento al extranjero desde que asumió el poder a finales de 2011, Kim y su esposa Ri Sol Ju asistieron a una ceremonia solemne y a un banquete ofrecido en su honor en el Gran Palacio del Pueblo en la plaza Tiananmen.

Tras un día y medio de incertidumbre, la agencia de prensa oficial china Xinhua confirmó el miércoles de madrugada la visita de Kim Jong -un a Beijing cuando éste ya había regresado a su país en tren. Una visita que duró dos días.

“Sin duda, mi primera visita al extranjero [debía ser] a la capital china”, dijo Kim, según unas declaraciones difundidas por la agencia de prensa oficial norcoreana KCNA. “Es mi deber solemne”, agregó.

Según Xinhua, Kim se declaró dispuesto a reunirse con el presidente Trump tras varios meses de amenazas mutuas entre ambos países por el programa nuclear norcoreano que hicieron temer un conflicto.
