Usain Bolt se convierte en DJ para cerrar los Juegos de la Commonwealth (Fotos)

La leyenda jamaicana del atletismo Usain Bolt se convirtió en un improvisado DJ durante algunos minutos este domingo en Gold Coast, en la ceremonia de clausura de los Juegos de la Commonwealth.

Con cadenas doradas alrededor del cuello y sobre todo relajado y sonriente, el carismático antiguo rey mundial de la velocidad tomó el control de la mesa de mezclas para celebrar el final de los 11 días de competición, una ceremonia colorista que homenajeó a la cultura aborigen.

Insuficiente para calmar el enfado de los manifestantes indígenas que denunciaron los “Stolenwealth Games”, algo así como los “Juegos de la riqueza robada”, en referencia a la colonización australiana.

Un centenar de manifestantes fueron bloqueados este domingo por un imponente dispositivo policial cerca del estadio, para evitar que se reprodujeran las escenas de enfrentamientos de la apertura.

Australia ha brillado en esta edición de la Commonwealth con 198 medallas, 80 de oro, seguida por Inglaterra con 136 (45) y la India, que consiguió 66 (26). AFP
