The President (E) of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, extended his congratulations to Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and the American people, for the celebration of their presidential elections.

The national leader predicted good relations between both countries to achieve the reestablishment of democracy in Venezuela.





Together we will work to ensure the restoration of democracy, freedom and human rights of the people of Venezuela,” he said through his Twitter account.

Following is the full statement published by the President (E) through his social networks regarding the US elections:

On behalf of the Venezuelan people, I extend my congratulations to President-elect Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the first woman elected Vice President, and the people of the United States.

I thank President Trump and Vice President Pence for their steadfastness and determination in confronting Maduro’s dictatorship and their efforts to help our people who are living in a humanitarian emergency today. We will continue to advance the cause of freedom in Venezuela until the end of his term.

We know that the cause of Freedom and Democracy in Venezuela has bipartisan support in the United States.
