“The Trump administration has highlighted, has made sure not to allow Maduro any more time and we are really pushing for free and fair elections,” said this Friday in an interview with the Voice of America.
She also reiterated that Nicolás Maduro’s regime is not interested in the Venezuelan people and that the international community must take a step forward to stop the dictatorship.

“The United States will always be on the right side of history,” she added.

Craft explained that the US seeks to bring the situation in Venezuela before the UN Security Council because it is “possible to raise these issues when talking about human rights violations.”

Likewise, she expressed her support for President (E) Juan Guaidó and her work in favor of Venezuelan democracy.
