The President in Charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, warned, during this World Refugee Day, that currently the Venezuelan migration crisis is the most severe in the world owed to its duration and impact.

“Migrating has not been an easy decision for more than 5.5 million Venezuelans,” said the national president in a message posted on his social network accounts.
According to data from the UN refugee agency, UNHCR, many of the Venezuelan migrants have not registered in other countries as refugees or asylum seekers, so the number of displaced people would be even higher.
Furthermore, the President in Charge specified that only with the return of democracy to Venezuela will it be possible to put an end to the massive migration that has affected the entire region.
