The Secretary of State of the United States, Antony J. Blinken, met this Monday with His Holiness Pope Francis in the Vatican City.

Secretary Blinken and Pope Francis spoke about different topics, among which he highlighted the humanitarian crisis caused by Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship in Venezuela.





Furthermore, the head of U.S. diplomacy reaffirmed the United States’ commitment to work closely with the Holy See to address global challenges and the needs of the world’s less fortunate and vulnerable, including refugees and migrants.
