The Spanish government will meet with the UNHCR, IOM, WHO and Bachellet’s office to address the refugee crisis in Venezuela

The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of Spain, Cristina Gallach, met this Tuesday with the UN High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva, Filippo Grandi, to analyze the Venezuelan refugee crisis among various other topics.

The Spanish diplomatic representative will also met with the main officials of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Office for Human Rights.





Furthermore, she held a meeting with the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, who recently ratified in the update of her report, that Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship has continued throughout the last months committing human rights violations of Venezuelans.
