Una extravagante bisabuela japonesa armada con una cámara fotográfica y ganas de divertirse causa furor en internet con sus selfis disparatados en los que aparece disfrazada de perro, sobre una escoba como Harry Potter o simulando un atropello.

Kimiko Nishimoto, que pronto cumplirá 90 años, cuenta con más de 41.000 seguidores en la red social Instagram, un éxito conquistado en sólo dos meses gracias a los divertidos posados que comenzó a publicar regularmente en noviembre.

Nacida en 1928, el año de la coronación del emperador Hirohito, Kimiko descubrió tardíamente la fotografía, tras una vida como ama de casa. Pero, cuando comenzó a tomar clases a los 72 años, fue un flechazo.





“Amo mi cámara de fotos”, dice a la AFP la todavía octogenaria en su casa de Kumamoto, en el suroeste de Japón. “La guardo junto a mi cama cuando duermo, por si acaso. Siempre la tengo cerca de mí”, confiesa.

Diez años más tarde, organizó su primera exposición en su ciudad natal.

Pero su reciente irrupción en el mundo de las redes sociales propulsó su nombre mucho más allá de las fronteras de la provincia donde vive. En diciembre, fue honrada en Tokio donde muchos seguidores acudieron a la galería donde presentaba sus obras.

“Al principio no sabía que mis fotos eran tan populares”, cuenta con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja. “No es que yo intente sorprender a la gente, simplemente tomo las fotos que encuentro divertidas”, explicó.

En las imágenes aparece con la cara desencajada de angustia tras fingir que cayó de su bicicleta, llorando porque que está a punto de ser atropellada o gritándole a una bandada de cuervos negros furiosos que supuestamente la atacan.

“Nunca me he herido sacando fotos”, asegura. “No creo que me este poniendo realmente en peligro”.

– ‘El secreto de la felicidad’ –

Ella misma gestiona su cuenta de Instagram a partir de su teléfono móvil y maneja programas de edición, al punto de que en algunas fotos aparece “levitando” ante el altar que recuerda a su difunto marido.

“Mi esposo murió hace cinco años pero todavía hoy en día le sigo mostrando mis fotos”, dice la anciana, que tiene tres nietos y seis bisnietos. “Él siempre me apoyaba en todo lo que decidiera hacer”, afirma.

Ahora Kimiko Nishimoto vive sola, con la única compañía de un robot semiandroide tipo Pepper que le regaló su hijo.

Pero en los últimos días no ha tenido tiempo para hablar con el pequeño robot blanco.

“¡Ay! No lo he encendido desde hace un tiempo. ¡Esta cosa es más una molestia que otra cosa!”, explica.

Prefiere dedicarse a sus puestas en escena. Después de revisar el material que tiene en su estudio, se disfraza de perro y se encadena a un poste en su jardín. Después, inmortaliza la escena accionando la cámara con un control remoto.

“Las ideas no me viene de repente a la mente”, señala. “Pero cada vez que voy a un lugar, me imagino de qué manera divertida podría vestir yo ese lugar”.

“Para decir la verdad, yo no pienso en el sentido profundo para mí”, agrega la anciana. “Yo simplemente quiero traer alegría. Este es el secreto de mi felicidad y me gustaría seguir mientras esté con vida”, dijo. AFP
