La Asamblea Nacional solicitó a la ONU no avalar las elecciones presidenciales del próximo 20 de mayo, hasta tanto existan las condiciones que permitan unos comicios libres, competitivos y justos, informó el diputado Luis Florido vía Twitter.

La Comisión Permanente de Política Exterior dirigió una comunicación al secretario general adjunto de Asuntos Políticos, Jeffrey Feltam, a quien exponen las razones de la oposición de abstenerse de participar en las elecciones.

En el texto, expresan que el organismo internacional debe tomar parte en un proceso electoral en Venezuela siempre como Observador Electoral Internacional “solo en unas elecciones competitivas y verdaderamente libres”.
