Una inusual nevasca en la flamante primavera boreal, la cuarta en tres semanas en el este de Estados Unidos, provocó el miércoles la anulación de más de 2.500 vuelos solo en la región de Nueva York y cerró las escuelas, reseñó AFP.

En Nueva York, la ciudad más poblada del país con 8,5 millones de habitantes, tres cuartos de los vuelos fueron anulados en el aeropuerto de LaGuardia (896 vuelos) y en Newark (975), así como un 50% de los arribos y partidas en el aeropuerto internacional John F. Kennedy (674), según el sitio especializado FlightAware.com.
