Miles de personas participan en una marcha festiva contra Macron (fotos)

Decenas de miles de personas manifestaron este sábado en París, en medio de una fuerte presencia policial, contra las reformas impulsadas por Emmanuel Macron un año después de su elección presidencial en Francia.

El movimiento político Francia Insumisa (izquierda radical), cuyo diputado François Ruffin impulsó la marcha, reivindicó la presencia de 160.000 manifestantes para “decir Basta a Macron”. La policía contabilizó cuatro veces menos, al igual que la empresa Occurrence que, comisionada por un grupo de medios de comunicación, contabilizó 38.900 participantes.





También hubo marchas de menor tamaño en otras ciudades de Francia, como Toulouse y Burdeos. La protesta de París comenzó con un picnic gigante al que acudieron numerosas familias.

Unos 2.000 efectivos de las fuerzas de seguridad, incluidos antidisturbios, fueron desplegados para acompañar la columna de manifestantes que desfiló desde la plaza de la Ópera hasta la plaza de la Bastilla y evitar los disturbios provocados en las marchas del 1 de mayo.

Al llegar a la plaza de la Bastilla se registró un poco de tensión. Algunos manifestantes lanzaron proyectiles y golpearon los camiones de los medios de comunicación.

Los organizadores habían pedido a los participantes que mantuvieran un espíritu “festivo” en la marcha, cuyo fin está previsto hacia las 20H00 (18H00 GMT) con un concierto en la Plaza de la Bastilla, un lugar que tradicionalmente acoge a las manifestaciones de la izquierda.

“Vivan los asalariados de Air France, vivan los trabajadores de ferrocarriles, vivan los empleados de los hospitales públicos, vivan los abogados, gloria a los funcionarios”, lanzó en medio del cortejo Jean-Luc Mélenchon, líder de Francia Insumisa (LFI), en referencia a los diferentes cuerpos que protestaron en Francia en las últimas semanas.

“La violencia no nos lleva a ninguna parte”, añadió el candidato presidencial de la izquierda radical en las elecciones del año pasado desde lo alto de un autobús en el que estaba escrito: “Cuando todo sea privado, estaremos privados de todo”.

El fuerte despliegue de seguridad llega después de que cientos de jóvenes encapuchados, los llamados “black blocs”, grupos de extrema izquierda conocidos por su violencia radical, incendiaran autos y vandalizaran un establecimiento de McDonald’s durante las manifestaciones del 1 de mayo.

– Preocupación por la violencia –

El portavoz gubernamental Benjamin Griveaux había expresado el viernes sus temores de que la manifestación se volviera violenta.

Señaló que el nombre de la protesta “Fête à Macron”, puede tener un doble significado en francés: hacerle una celebración a alguien o dañarlo.

En la marcha participaban cuatro carrozas, cada una de ellas con una persona con una careta de Macron y ataviada con un motivo diferente (Drácula, Júpiter, Napoleón…) para burlarse del mandatario, acusado de ser el “presidente de los ricos”.

Esta es la última de una serie de grandes manifestaciones contra Macron, cuyas reformas en varios sectores, desde la educación hasta el sistema de ferrocarriles, han causado choques con varios grupos.

Francia Insumisa no es la organizadora de esta manifestación, pero la idea sí fue de su diputado Ruffin.

Según los organizadores, esta iniciativa es “una primera etapa”. Varias asociaciones, sindicatos y partidos prevén una nueva jornada de protestas para el 26 de mayo. “Un nuevo ciclo de movilización está en camino”, celebró Mélenchon.

Pero LFI sí quiso aportar a la fiesta fletando una centena de autobuses.

Entre tanto, varias facultades siguen bloqueadas en medio de las protestas contra los planes de Macron de hacer que el acceso a las universidades sea más selectivo, lo que perturbó la celebración de exámenes finales.

Además, el viernes fue la última de una serie de jornadas de huelgas en los servicios de trenes del país, en protesta contra los planes de Macron para reformar la compañía pública de ferrocarriles, la SNCF.
